The predecessor of the Single World Championship was the European Championship.
Since 1966 the Single World Championship became an official race. One experimented with different Modi (see Table).
Team World Championships get established official since 1979.
The first official European Championship started 1963. Up to the first World Championship 1966 there are three European Championships. After this there were no EC up to 2000.
The German Championship started at 1993. Before 1993 there were "Sichtungsrennen" (some sort of competition). But theese did not had an official status as German Championship.
